MY TEACHING STYLE

As a yoga teacher, I see my role as someone entrusted with the ancient wisdom of yoga and the anatomical knowledge to help facilitate a deeper connection between mind, body, and soul.

I bring the expertise of my trainings, years of experience as an instructor/student, and my own personal inspirations into every class I teach. But I firmly believe that each person is their own best teacher. ou are the one living in your body, breathing your breath, and navigating your unique path. My purpose is to offer physically acurate guidance, emotional encouragement, and safe, compassionate space for your own exploration to unfold. And one of the favorite parts of my job is to celebrate all the light and love that already exists inside of you!

I don't subscribe to the idea that healing belongs to a select few experts or gurus. I believe we are all teachers, and we are all healers. Every act of kindness, every moment of listening, and every time we choose to care for ourselves and others, we contribute to the healing and wisdom of the world around us. Because of this, my teaching style is highly adaptable and centered around the individual in front of me. Whether you're seeking rest, strength, to destress, or simply a moment to breathe, I want to meet you where you are.

One of my greatest passions is making yoga accessible. For years, one of the most common things I've heard is, "I'm not flexible enough for yoga."

The truth is that yoga is for everybody. Every week I teach students ranging from three years old to ninety, people living with physical limitations and people who move with ease. The practice may look different from one person to the next, but the intention remains the same: to cultivate a more loving and compassionate relationship with yourself, so you can move through life with greater awareness, confidence, and ease.

Children's & Teen Yoga Teacher Certification

Jessica Fleming

Having begun my own yogic practice as an adolescent, this training held particular personal significance for me, giving me the tools to share yoga with younger practitioners. Through this training, as well as my own research into child development and behavior, I learned how to use creativity and play to support confident self-expression, emotional awareness, and inner well-being with yoga.
